It will be absolutely perfect for my two chihuahuas during car journeys and even ferry crossings, giving them a safe, comfortable space that I feel completely confident using. I previously owned a Ferndale version, but this one is in a completely different league. The craftsmanship and stability are far superior, and you can tell a lot of thought has gone into the design. While the cushion could be a little thicker, it’s really not an issue at all since I add their own vet bedding, which works beautifully. The separate carry bag is an incredibly useful addition, making it easy to transport and store, and the whole setup is simple to assemble. Once put together, it feels very sturdy yet remains impressively lightweight. Overall, I’m genuinely thrilled with this purchase—highly recommended! Well worth the money and is much lighter than the metal cage type crate and also looks nicer if using in the house every day which I am , I did buy a thicker mattress though as its used as a main sleeping space and not just for travelling.
