Product description Main image video Review: Easy roller! - I opened this travel carrier about an hour ago. I couldn’t wait to write a review. This is a well built unit, the fabric and mesh on the carrier are great quality and the zippers are smooth opening and closing. The addition of the locking mechanism on each zipper is a real bonus. I’ve never had an escapee, but I have had zippers work their way open slightly on other carriers. There are no directions for putting this together or folding it up. I had to go back to the listing on desertcart and follow the pictures. There is a decent video, but I was having trouble with the handle. I finally just yanked it and that’s all it took to release it! I was afraid I would break it, but after fifteen minutes, I had had enough! My little Yorkiepoo, who is seven pounds fits in half of the carrier. She has room to turn around, and can fully stand with the extra top piece popped up. I can’t wait to roll this through the airport! This is the best looking carrier on wheels that I’ve seen on desertcart. Very smooth rolling on the kitchen floor! My complaints are two: First, the pad in the bottom is nonexistent. There should be some sort of padding. I added a one inch piece of foam, cut slightly smaller than the plastic “board” on the bottom. The removable microfiber cover was very loose and easily supported the addition of the foam. Now I feel better about traveling for hours on end with my little girl! The second complaint is that there needs to be some sort of security strap for the overhead bin. As it is, the handle is flopping one way and the folded up sides are flopping the other - just one tiny addition of a Velcro strap would make all of the difference. For storage, a piece of Velcro can be adhered to the bottom of the wheelie base so it would never get lost. Pull it off when it is needed for storage. Then stick it back down when the cart is in use! It won’t be difficult to make one of those, I’ll add that to my list before I travel. Even with my two complaints, I still gave five stars. This unit is VERY expensive, but is really the only one like it that I have seen. If I encounter any problems while traveling, I will addend this review, but now I can’t wait to travel! Review: Great BUT roller box difficult to fold flat - Excellent quality and easy to roll which is great. BUT, the roller box that the crate sits in has to be completely flattened into its flat shape. This means turning the handle completely around the roller box. It takes a little time to do this while people are anxiously in line behind you. The same thing has to be done before you board the flight so the roller box will fit overhead. Again people are behind you. The roller box needs to be redesigned so the roller box can be quickly folder flat.
